Seal the drafts.
Fund it for $180. Proof lands onchain when it's done.
$180 proposed
This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.
Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee.
What the work involvesArcata's rental stock is old, wood-framed, and damp, and students and working tenants pay high winter electric bills to heat rooms that leak from every sash and sill. With the landlord's or tenant's invitation, a basic air-sealing kit stops the worst leaks in an afternoon without any alteration a rental agreement would care about.
How this work is done
A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.
Steps
- Confirm the tenant's or owner's invitation and find drafts with the back of a hand on a windy day.
- Photograph each leak point before sealing.
- Apply removable-rated weatherstrip and door sweeps at doors, and rope caulk or film at the leakiest windows.
- Fit foam gaskets behind outlet covers on exterior walls.
- Confirm every door and window still opens and latches.
- Photograph each sealed point with date and address block.
What counts as done
- Before photos of at least 4 leak points with GPS and date
- After photos of the same points sealed
- Note of materials used per point
Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.
The standard this serves
DIY Weatherization and Air Sealing. Air sealing is the cheapest energy work there is, and the Department of Energy has spent decades proving it: a tube of caulk and a roll of weatherstrip, placed where the cold actually comes in, beat almost any gadget you can buy. This standard keeps the work occupant-safe: no wiring, no combustion equipment, no disturbing old paint. Mastery looks like hands that can find a draft with a bare palm and close it for good. This packet is one home's worth of that: find the gaps, seal them, photograph the proof.
What is promised, and what is not.
Funding this work is a purchase or a vote, same act: you either want this done here, or you want the world to contain it. A vote is free and signed; funding starts at one cent and anything beyond the wage is recorded as a premium for the worker. Either way the money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1787194030908_wkqopzs","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.
An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.
Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.
Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
