Anyone can start here · Young street trees, Wagenseller neighborhood blocks, Ukiah, CA 95482

Run the weekly deep-watering round for Ukiah's young trees through the hot months.

Fund it for $140. Proof lands onchain when it's done.

$140 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee.

What the work involves

A tree planted in Ukiah faces five rainless months of 100°F heat in its first summers, and unwatered young trees on the hot blocks die faster than programs can replant them. The weekly deep-watering round through the dry season is what turns plantings into canopy.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. Take the young-tree list for the assigned blocks and photograph any stressed trees.
  2. Deep-water each tree 10-15 gallons slowly at the basin from carried water or host spigots.
  3. Refresh basins and mulch rings where flattened or thin.
  4. Flag dead or damaged trees for the replant list.
  5. Photograph the round and log trees watered with date.

What counts as done

  • Photos of watered trees with GPS and date
  • Count and gallons per tree
  • Flags noted for the replant list

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The standard this serves

Tree Planting and Establishment. Planting a tree properly is a codified craft, and the arborists' standards are blunt about why: most young trees that die were killed at planting, by a hole dug too deep, a root ball left bound, a first summer without water. Mastery looks like trees you planted years ago still standing, which is the only measure arborists accept. The craft lives in exactly the steps this packet asks for: the wide shallow hole, the freed roots, the mulch kept off the trunk, the watering that follows. Plant one tree correctly and you know something real.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Funding this work is a purchase or a vote, same act: you either want this done here, or you want the world to contain it. A vote is free and signed; funding starts at one cent and anything beyond the wage is recorded as a premium for the worker. Either way the money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1787194076491_ry1yv6i","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
