1. Enter the attic with a headlamp and a partner spotting from below, staying on the joists.
2. Locate top-plate gaps, wire penetrations, and chase openings with visible daylight or draft.
3. Seal each gap with foam or caulk rated for the temperature of the space.
4. Photograph each sealed bypass before moving to the next.
5. Log the total bypasses sealed and exit the attic.
