advanced work · the shaded fuel-break corridor along CA-3, the evacuation route out of Hayfork, CA 96041
Maintain the shaded fuel break, segment 2 -- the shaded fuel-break corridor along CA-3, the evacuation route out of Hayfork, CA 96041.
Fund it for $320. Proof lands onchain when it's done.
$320 proposed
This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.
Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee.
What the work involvesThe survey found brush and ladder fuels regrown into this segment of the community's only evacuation corridor; mowing and thinning the understory back to the maintained fuel-break spec keeps the escape route passable and slows fire spread across the road during the next wildfire.
How this work is done
A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.
Bring
- camera with zoom
- GPS-capable phone
- tape measure or pace-count reference
- Firewise USA zone checklist
- field notebook
Steps
- 1. Document only: photograph Zone 0 (0-5 ft from the structure), Zone 1 (5-30 ft) and Zone 2 (30-100 ft) from the driveway or yard edge; never enter dense brush or approach a structurally questionable outbuilding.
- 2. Note vegetation type, spacing and ladder-fuel presence (brush touching tree canopy) in each zone from the safe vantage.
- 3. Photograph the roof material, gutters, vents, and any firewood or combustible material stacked against the structure.
- 4. Compile the zone-by-zone findings into a defensible-space checklist naming what a licensed/credentialed vegetation-management crew should clear first; never clear, cut, or move anything during this survey.
What counts as done
- Before photo of the overgrown segment
- After photo showing understory thinned and mowed to the maintained fuel-break spec
- Brush-height measurement confirming the target clearance
- Bagged/hauled or chipped green-waste disposal photo
Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.
What is promised, and what is not.
Funding this work is a purchase or a vote, same act: you either want this done here, or you want the world to contain it. A vote is free and signed; funding starts at one cent and anything beyond the wage is recorded as a premium for the worker. Either way the money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1787198254325_cda93bh","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.
An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.
Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.
Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
