intermediate work · a resident's own home near the town center, Conroe, TX 77301 (Montgomery County); best-estimate location, exact address not confirmed; a home with a narrow interior doorway between a bedroom and a bathroom

Swap in swing-clear hinges to widen a walker-width doorway, a resident's own home near Conroe, TX.

Fund it for $210. Proof lands onchain when it's done.

$210 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee.

What the work involves

A bathroom or bedroom doorway in this home is too narrow for a walker or wheelchair to pass once the door itself takes up part of the opening. Swing-clear hinges pivot the door fully out of the frame on the existing mortises, adding clearance without cutting the frame.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. 1. Measure the doorway's clear opening with the door open at 90 degrees and confirm the walker or wheelchair does not clear it.
  2. 2. Remove the door from its existing hinges, working one hinge at a time so the door stays supported.
  3. 3. Install the swing-clear hinge leaves into the same existing hinge mortises on the frame and the door, no new cuts to the jamb or the door itself.
  4. 4. Rehang the door on the new hinges and swing it fully open to confirm it now clears past the frame face.
  5. 5. Re-measure the clear opening with the door open and walk the walker or wheelchair through it to confirm the gain, then photograph both measurements.

What counts as done

  • Before measurement of the doorway's clear opening with the door open
  • Photo of the swing-clear hinges installed in the existing mortises, no new cuts to frame or door
  • After measurement of the clear opening showing the gain
  • Confirmation the resident's own walker or wheelchair passes through the widened opening

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Funding this work is a purchase or a vote, same act: you either want this done here, or you want the world to contain it. A vote is free and signed; funding starts at one cent and anything beyond the wage is recorded as a premium for the worker. Either way the money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1787213400240_4qqr15q","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
