intermediate work · a resident's own home near the town center, Livingston, TX 77351 (Polk County); best-estimate location, exact address not confirmed; a home with a bathroom door that swings inward over the room's only turning space

Reverse a bathroom door's swing to free the turning space, a resident's own home near Livingston, TX.

Fund it for $230. Proof lands onchain when it's done.

$230 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee.

What the work involves

The bathroom door in this home opens inward directly across the space the resident's wheelchair needs to turn in. Rehanging the same door on its existing hinges to swing outward instead frees that floor space without touching the frame.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. 1. Confirm the door currently swings inward and measure how much of the bathroom's floor space the open door occupies.
  2. 2. Remove the door and unmount the hinge leaves from the jamb.
  3. 3. Move the hinge mortises and the strike-plate mortise to the opposite edge of the same jamb, or rehang the same door reversed if the jamb is symmetrical, so the door will swing outward into the hallway.
  4. 4. Rehang the door, fit the strike plate, and swing it through its full range to confirm it now opens outward and clears the hallway.
  5. 5. Re-measure the bathroom floor space with the door open and photograph the freed turning space.

What counts as done

  • Before measurement of the usable floor space with the door open in its original inward swing
  • Photo confirming the door now swings outward on rehung hinges
  • After measurement of the freed floor space with the door open in its new swing direction
  • Confirmation the hallway side has room for the door's new outward swing without blocking a passage

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Funding this work is a purchase or a vote, same act: you either want this done here, or you want the world to contain it. A vote is free and signed; funding starts at one cent and anything beyond the wage is recorded as a premium for the worker. Either way the money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1787213458857_qltds65","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
