Anyone can start here · a public park with an existing bare, sun-exposed soil patch near a trail or meadow edge, Alvin, TX 77511 (Brazoria County); best-estimate location near the town center, exact address not confirmed

Site, stake, and sign an existing bare-soil patch for ground-nesting bees, a public park, Alvin, TX.

Fund it for $80. Proof lands onchain when it's done.

$80 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee.

What the work involves

This park's grounds crew mulches or reseeds every bare patch it finds on a standard rotation, and nothing on the property is ever deliberately left as open, undisturbed dirt -- yet most native bee species in Texas nest in exactly that kind of ground, not in a box or a hotel. A sunny, well-drained patch already sitting bare near the trail edge already has everything a ground-nesting bee needs; staking and signing it as habitat, and asking the crew to skip it on the next mulch or reseed pass, is the entire intervention. No digging, no building -- protecting an absence.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. 1. Walk the property with the owner or manager and identify an existing bare or sparsely vegetated patch of well-drained soil, at least 3 by 3 feet, in full sun for most of the day -- photograph the patch as found, including its sun exposure and current ground cover.
  2. 2. Confirm the patch meets the siting logic: no standing water after rain, no compacted vehicle or heavy foot-traffic path across it, and not already scheduled for mulch, sod, or tilling this season. Do not dig, till, loosen, rake, or amend the soil in any way at any point in this rung -- the entire intervention is leaving the ground exactly as found.
  3. 3. Install low corner stakes and a small weatherproof sign at the patch edge identifying it as ground-nesting bee habitat and stating the ask in plain terms: no mulch, no tilling, no foot traffic, leave the ground bare.
  4. 4. Record the patch's dimensions, sun exposure, and soil texture (sandy, loamy, or clay) by hand observation, and deliver the same ask in writing to the property owner, manager, or grounds crew.
  5. 5. Photograph the finished, staked and signed patch from the same before vantage.

What counts as done

  • Before photo of the bare patch as found, with sun exposure and ground cover noted
  • Patch dimensions, sun exposure, and soil texture recorded
  • Confirmation that no digging, tilling, raking, or soil amendment occurred at any point
  • After photo of the staked and signed patch
  • Confirmation the written no-disturb ask was delivered to the property owner, manager, or grounds crew

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Funding this work is a purchase or a vote, same act: you either want this done here, or you want the world to contain it. A vote is free and signed; funding starts at one cent and anything beyond the wage is recorded as a premium for the worker. Either way the money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1787213738802_0ngyudp","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
