1. Flag planting spots at runoff catch points per the plot plan; photograph each before.
2. Dig and plant each container mesquite deep enough to protect the taproot; form a generous watering basin.
3. Deep-water in, mulch the basin, and cage against browse.
4. Photograph each finished planting (basin + cage) and log GPS per tree.
