Anyone can start here · APN 0470242040000, Yucca Trail, Barstow, CA 92342 (Vealth-owned off-grid desert parcel, ~2 acres, Resource Conservation zoning), San Bernardino County
Take the soil-health baseline of the Vealth Barstow desert parcel.
Fund it for $80. Proof lands onchain when it's done.
$80 proposed
This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.
Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee.
What the work involvesThis raw off-grid parcel sheds dust on every wind because its desert crust is broken and nobody has ever measured what the ground holds. An NRCS-style baseline turns 'restore it' into numbered targets and starts the twelve-month record the land's recovery will be judged against.
How this work is done
A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.
Steps
- Grid the ~2-acre parcel into representative zones and photograph each zone as found (crust condition, bare patches, rills, existing shrubs).
- In each zone take a standard 0–6 inch soil-health read: texture-by-feel, a coffee-can infiltration test timed with a phone, and a labelled lab bag per NRCS protocol.
- Record GPS at every sample point and tie each bag and photo to the zone map.
- Deliver or ship the lab bags and compile the baseline sheet naming the follow-on practice for each zone (seed cover, compost, basins, plantings) — this sheet is month one of the parcel's measured record.
What counts as done
- Zone map with GPS sample points and a photo of each zone
- Field-test log (texture, timed infiltration) per zone
- Lab submission receipt plus the compiled baseline sheet naming per-zone follow-on work
Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.
What is promised, and what is not.
Funding this work is a purchase or a vote, same act: you either want this done here, or you want the world to contain it. A vote is free and signed; funding starts at one cent and anything beyond the wage is recorded as a premium for the worker. Either way the money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1787677518759_wpgru00","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.
An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.
Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.
Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
