intermediate work · Bike/treadmill/track + lactate meter, London, UK
Lactate / aerobic-threshold test (precise training zones) — London.
Fund it for $320. Proof lands onchain when it's done.
$320 proposed
This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.
Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee.
What the work involvesTraining zones anchored to a real threshold rather than a formula make every endurance minute count. A lactate or critical-power threshold test pins the boundary between sustainable base and glycolytic work, sharpening both the Zone-2 base and the interval stimulus.
How this work is done
A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.
Bring
- heart-rate monitor
- bike/treadmill/track with controllable intensity
- fingertip lactate meter (or a validated critical-power protocol)
- PAR-Q+ readiness form
Steps
- 1. Confirm PAR-Q+ readiness and an aerobic base before the incremental test.
- 2. Warm up, then increase intensity in fixed steps (e.g., every 3-4 min), holding each stage steady.
- 3. At the end of each stage record HR and, where available, fingertip lactate (mmol/L); otherwise use the talk-test transition.
- 4. Identify the first threshold: the last stage before lactate rises above ~2 mmol/L (or where full sentences become impossible).
- 5. Derive the Zone-2 ceiling and threshold HR/pace; cool down; log all stages and the derived zones; sign it.
- 6. Record any beta-blocker or other rate-controlling medication; if present, do not apply age-predicted %-max-HR zones or standard heart-rate thresholds — anchor intensity with RPE and the talk test instead.
What counts as done
- PAR-Q+ readiness and an aerobic base confirmed before the incremental test
- Stage-by-stage HR and (where used) lactate mmol/L recorded to locate the threshold
- Derived Zone-2 ceiling and threshold HR/pace documented for training
Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.
What is promised, and what is not.
Funding this work is a purchase or a vote, same act: you either want this done here, or you want the world to contain it. A vote is free and signed; funding starts at one cent and anything beyond the wage is recorded as a premium for the worker. Either way the money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1788106875422_yw1s6xo","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.
An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.
Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.
Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
