Shift-work recovery and sleep protocol — quick-return flags + recovery sleep + shift-timed light/caffeine — Las Vegas hospitality.

Fund it for $230. Proof lands onchain when it's done.

$230 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

What the work involves

Las Vegas runs one of the country's largest 24/7 hospitality and gaming workforces — dealers, pit staff, security, housekeeping, and food-and-beverage staff rotating through day, swing, and graveyard shifts, with 'clopening' turnarounds under 11 hours a standard part of casino-floor scheduling. A roster-based plan flags every quick return, times light and caffeine to the actual shift instead of the clock, and builds a real recovery-sleep block after a run of graveyard shifts.

Proof
2-week shift roster with quick-return turnarounds flagged + 1-2 week sleep diary (daytime post-night-shift sleep vs days-off sleep) + a coached light/caffeine/nap plan mapped to the shift, not the clock + a post-night-block recovery-sleep protocol, with a drowsy-driving/Shift Work Disorder/mood screen and any red flag routed to a clinician or crisis line

This is exactly what gets it approved. Nothing settles without it.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Bring

  • a 2-week shift roster (upcoming shift start/end times, rotation direction, and any turnarounds under 11 h between shifts)
  • a 1-2 week sleep diary or wearable sleep-log export covering both daytime sleep after night shifts and days-off sleep
  • a caffeine and nap timing log referenced to shift start/end, not clock time
  • blackout curtain or eye mask plus white-noise or earplugs at the primary daytime-sleep location
  • dark/wrap-around sunglasses for the post-night-shift commute home
  • a secure note for the roster flags, plan, referrals, and retest date (incl. the 988 crisis line, US)

Steps

  1. 1. Record the actual roster for the next rotation cycle: shift start/end times, direction of rotation (forward day→evening→night adapts more easily than backward), and any turnaround under 11 hours between the end of one shift and the start of the next (a 'quick return').
  2. 2. Take the 1-2 week sleep diary or wearable export: total sleep time and quality on workdays, including daytime sleep after a night shift, versus days off, and note any recurring truncation of daytime sleep.
  3. 3. Map light exposure to the shift rather than the clock: bright/blue-enriched light sought during the first half of a night shift to delay the body clock, dark wrap-around sunglasses worn on the dawn commute home to blunt the morning-light signal, and a fully blackout, quiet daytime sleep environment.
  4. 4. Map caffeine and napping to the shift, not the clock: caffeine timed to the start and first half of the shift with a cutoff before the second half so it clears before the post-shift sleep window; a prophylactic nap before a night shift and/or one brief (under 30 min) on-shift nap where policy allows, positioned so it does not cut into the main recovery-sleep window.
  5. 5. Build the quick-return and post-night-block recovery plan: flag every roster turnaround under 11 hours, and set a recovery-sleep protocol after a run of night shifts — a longer anchor sleep plus one short nap rather than a single marathon sleep, with a gradual (not abrupt) shift back toward a day-active schedule before days off end.
  6. 6. Record the roster, the diary findings, the light/caffeine/nap plan, and the quick-return/recovery flags. Screen for any drowsy-driving incident, signs of Shift Work Disorder (excessive sleepiness or insomnia tied to the schedule, persisting 3 months or more), and mood/crisis signals; route any positive to a clinician or crisis line; sign and set a retest date.

What counts as done

  • 2-week shift roster recorded with rotation direction and any turnarounds under 11 hours flagged (including scheduled 'clopening' turns)
  • 1-2 week sleep diary covering both daytime sleep after graveyard shifts and days-off sleep, with recurring truncation noted
  • Shift-referenced light plan (bright light on-shift, dark sunglasses on the commute home, blackout daytime sleep) and caffeine/nap timing plan recorded
  • Post-night-block recovery-sleep protocol recorded, plus a drowsy-driving / Shift Work Disorder / mood screen completed with any red flag routed to a clinician or crisis line

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Funding this work is a purchase or a vote, same act: you either want this done here, or you want the world to contain it. A vote is free and signed; funding starts at one cent and anything beyond the wage is recorded as a premium for the worker. Either way the money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1788107576281_27chehe","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
