Steps

  1. 1. Record species, age class, and housing context for the animal being checked.
  2. 2. Observe and record a nutrition-domain note: body condition, appetite, and access to food and water, citing what was actually seen.
  3. 3. Observe and record a physical-environment-domain note: shelter, substrate or bedding, temperature comfort, and space, citing what was actually seen.
  4. 4. Observe and record a health-domain note: gait, coat/skin/feather condition, respiration, and any visible injury or disease sign, citing what was actually seen.
  5. 5. Observe and record a behavioural-interactions-domain note: interactions with other animals, with humans, and expression of normal species behavior, citing what was actually seen.
  6. 6. Write a mental-state inference drawn only from the four domain notes above, never as a standalone clinical claim.
  7. 7. Route every flagged deficit: a husbandry fix the keeper owns and can complete, or a veterinary referral named.
  8. 8. Enter species, age class, housing context, all four domain notes, the mental-state inference, and any routing into the proof record; sign.

What counts as done

  • One dated observation note per domain (nutrition, physical environment, health, behavioural interactions), each citing what was actually seen
  • Mental-state inference written as an inference from the four domains, never a clinical claim
  • Every flagged deficit routed: husbandry fix the keeper owns, or veterinary referral named
  • Species, age class, and housing context recorded

What is promised, and what is not

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage.
