Home mold moisture-source and extent audit (EPA guidance) — national.

Fund it for $150. Proof lands onchain when it's done.

$150 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee.

What the work involves

Most home mold problems start as an ignored leak or a humid, unventilated room, and by the time it's visible, keepers either panic-scrub a small patch — spreading spores — or ignore a large one that actually needs a professional. EPA's own area threshold turns 'is this bad?' into a clear, mapped answer.

Proof
A dated moisture-source audit across all standard risk points, any visible growth photographed and measured without disturbance, and routing recorded per the EPA area/HVAC/sewage thresholds plus any clinician referral for occupant symptoms

This is exactly what gets it approved. Nothing settles without it.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Bring

  • A flashlight and a moisture meter or hygrometer
  • Camera for photographing visible growth and moisture sources without disturbing them
  • Measuring tape for mapping growth extent in square feet
  • A written home moisture-source checklist (roof, plumbing, windows, foundation, HVAC, appliances)
  • Prior audit records where they exist

Steps

  1. 1. Walk the home's moisture-risk points: roof and gutter condition, plumbing fixtures and supply lines, window and door seals, foundation/basement/crawlspace, and appliance connections (washer, dishwasher, water heater, HVAC condensate).
  2. 2. Take indoor relative-humidity readings in problem-prone rooms (bathrooms, basements, kitchens); note readings above the EPA-recommended range as a risk factor.
  3. 3. Record every active or past moisture source found: its location, apparent cause (leak, condensation, ventilation gap), and whether it is currently active.
  4. 4. Where visible mold growth is present, photograph and measure its extent in square feet WITHOUT disturbing, scrubbing, or aerosolizing it — disturbance before assessment can spread spores.
  5. 5. Note whether growth is near or inside HVAC components/ductwork, or whether it followed a sewage backup or other contaminated-water event.
  6. 6. Sum the total visibly affected area across all locations found.
  7. 7. Route per the decision rules: self-manageable small area with the moisture source fixed first, or professional remediation referral for the qualifying conditions.
  8. 8. Record any reported occupant health symptoms (respiratory, allergic) separately and route those to a clinician, independent of the remediation-size routing.

What counts as done

  • All standard moisture-risk points inspected and recorded (roof/gutter, plumbing, windows, foundation, appliances, HVAC)
  • Indoor humidity reading(s) recorded in problem-prone rooms
  • Any visible growth photographed and its extent measured (sq ft) WITHOUT disturbance
  • Routing recorded: self-manage vs professional remediation per the EPA threshold, plus any clinician referral for occupant symptoms

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Funding this work is a purchase or a vote, same act: you either want this done here, or you want the world to contain it. A vote is free and signed; funding starts at one cent and anything beyond the wage is recorded as a premium for the worker. Either way the money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1788116686235_sk0vctg","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
