Steps

  1. 1. ASSESS: run/verify the service load calculation for the new circuit, confirm panel capacity and the run path, and photograph the panel schedule and install location before work.
  2. 2. Install the branch circuit (conduit, conductors, breaker) sized per the EVSE nameplate and NEC 625; torque terminations to spec.
  3. 3. Mount and wire the EVSE at the required height/location (clear of the parking envelope, cable management per listing) and label the circuit.
  4. 4. Commission: verify voltage, GFCI/CCID function, and a full charge session on a vehicle or tester; register the unit if networked.
  5. 5. VERIFY: pass the electrical inspection; photograph the completed installation, breaker, and label; record the charge-session proof and leave the owner the operating info.
