intermediate work · White River bank near the W Washington Street bridge, Haughville-adjacent, Indianapolis, IN 46222

Stabilize an eroding White River bank with native planting near the W Washington Street bridge.

Fund it for $400. Proof lands onchain when it's done.

$400 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee.

What the work involves

The bank here has lost its vegetation and is actively sloughing into the river below the bridge -- native riparian planting and erosion matting is the direct SDG 15.1 repair.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Bring

  • shovel / dibble bar
  • native bare-root or plug plantings (locally sourced)
  • erosion-control matting or willow stakes (bank-stabilization sites)
  • loppers / hand saw (invasive removal)
  • gloves + trash bags (litter pass)
  • camera
  • GPS-enabled phone

Steps

  1. 1. Walk the reach with the site plan (or the standing bioassessment/watershed-health finding, if one exists) and photograph the bank/buffer segment as found: bare soil, invasive cover, litter, erosion.
  2. 2. Clear invasive growth and litter from the planting zone by hand, bagging trash separately from green waste; leave native volunteers in place.
  3. 3. Plant native riparian species (or set willow stakes / erosion-control matting) at the spacing and depth the site plan calls for, working from the top of bank downward; water each planting in.
  4. 4. Stake or anchor any erosion-control matting so it will not lift in the next high-flow event, and mulch around new plantings kept clear of stems.
  5. 5. Photograph the finished segment from the matching vantage, record species/count or matting area installed, and note any follow-up watering the planting needs.

What counts as done

  • Before photo of the eroding, bare bank
  • After photo of the planted/matted bank
  • Species planted + matting area log

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Funding this work is a purchase or a vote, same act: you either want this done here, or you want the world to contain it. A vote is free and signed; funding starts at one cent and anything beyond the wage is recorded as a premium for the worker. Either way the money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1788180353236_pn1vzop","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
