Patch the cracked front-stoop step.
Fund it for $180. Proof lands onchain when it's done.
$180 proposed
This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.
Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee.
What the work involvesRowhouses on the 1300 block of Alabama Avenue SE, Congress Heights, Washington, DC 20032 carry decades-old concrete stoop steps; hairline cracks widen every freeze-thaw winter into trip hazards and let water into the step's base. A quick hydraulic-cement patch stops both before either gets worse.
How this work is done
A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.
Bring
- wire brush + shop vac (debris clearing)
- hydraulic cement or concrete patch compound
- trowel + mixing bucket + water
- camera + tape measure
Steps
- 1. ASSESS: photograph and measure each crack/spall on the stoop tread and risers; confirm the crack is a surface/shallow patch candidate (hairline to ~1/2 inch, not a structural step separation) and that the stoop is stable to stand on.
- 2. Clear loose debris, dirt and old crumbling material from the crack with a wire brush and shop vac; dampen per the patch product's instructions.
- 3. Mix and apply the hydraulic cement or concrete patch compound, packing the crack fully and troweling it flush with the surrounding surface.
- 4. Cure per the product's instructions (keep foot traffic and water off during cure) and photograph the finished patch from the same before vantage.
What counts as done
- Photo of each crack/spall before patching
- Photo of the same spot after patching (matching vantage)
- Materials note (hydraulic cement/patch compound used) + cure-time confirmation
Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.
What is promised, and what is not.
Funding this work is a purchase or a vote, same act: you either want this done here, or you want the world to contain it. A vote is free and signed; funding starts at one cent and anything beyond the wage is recorded as a premium for the worker. Either way the money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1788180900069_rr94mq0","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.
An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.
Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.
Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
