advanced work · downtown San Ardo along Broadway Street, San Ardo, CA 93450

Grind down a lifted sidewalk trip-hazard lip.

Fund it for $160. Proof lands onchain when it's done.

$160 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Open, but not claimable yet. restricted: permit-required — Regulated or permit-required work cannot be claimed on this rail yet. It stays readable; voting and pledging are free, and funding is separate from claiming.

What the work involves

A sidewalk panel along Broadway Street has lifted at a joint, leaving a lip too shallow to warrant a full panel repour but sharp enough to catch a shoe or a wheelchair caster.

Proof
before/after photos + lip-height measurement + bevel-angle confirm + GPS

This is exactly what gets it approved. Nothing settles without it.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Bring

  • right-of-way permit + cones, barricades and signage for a compliant work zone
  • cold-patch asphalt or the specified repair mortar, plus bonding agent
  • grinder or saw with a water feed or vacuum shroud (respirable silica control)
  • tamper or plate compactor, trowels, screed
  • smart level or 2-ft level + straightedge + tape measure
  • respirator, eye and hearing protection, gloves
  • camera + GPS phone

Steps

  1. 1. ASSESS: photograph the defect as found and measure it (vertical discontinuity, ponding depth, spall area, cross slope); record the numbers before touching anything.
  2. 2. Set the work zone: cones, barricades and a maintained pedestrian detour; confirm the right-of-way permit and, for anything cut into the ground, the honored 811 locate.
  3. 3. Square up and clean the repair area, removing loose and unsound material back to a sound edge; run every cut or grind wet or under vacuum, never dry.
  4. 4. Place the repair material in the specified lifts, compacting or consolidating each lift, and finish to match the surrounding grade and the drainage direction.
  5. 5. VERIFY: straightedge and level the finished patch, confirming vertical discontinuity at or under 1/4 in and cross slope at or under 2 percent; record both readings.
  6. 6. Photograph the finished repair from the before vantage, log the permit reference and the cure or reopen time, and enter them in the proof record.

What counts as done

  • Before photo with a ruler showing the lip height
  • Wet-cut grinding equipment photo (dust-suppression method confirmed)
  • After photo showing the ground bevel with the lip reduced to a safe ADA-compliant transition
  • Lip-height measurement confirming the transition is within tolerance after grinding

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1788199019818_p23u7b1","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
