intermediate work · Succ Drinking_water_safety

Install a point-of-use water filter.

Fund it for $85. Proof lands onchain when it's done.

$85 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Open, but not claimable yet. restricted: regulated — Regulated or permit-required work cannot be claimed on this rail yet. It stays readable; voting and pledging are free, and funding is separate from claiming.

What the work involves

The potability test at the housing complex courtyard in Merced, CA flagged a contaminant. Install an NSF/ANSI-certified point-of-use filter on the tap or spigot this source feeds, sized to that contaminant, and confirm the fix with a retest.

Proof
before/after test readings + NSF/ANSI label photo + install date/next-service label + GPS waypoint: Real, Proven, One-of-one

This is exactly what gets it approved. Nothing settles without it.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Bring

  • NSF/ANSI 42/53/58-certified filter or treatment unit matched to the flagged contaminant
  • basic plumbing hand tools (wrench, tubing cutter, Teflon tape) or a certified installer for a whole-building POE unit
  • test strips or a second lab sample kit for the post-install retest
  • GPS device / phone for the waypoint

Steps

  1. 1. ASSESS: read the potability test result and pick an NSF/ANSI-certified device rated to reduce the specific contaminant flagged (lead/bacteria/nitrate/turbidity).
  2. 2. Shut off the local water supply and install the device at the point of use (or point of entry for a whole-building concern), following the manufacturer's instructions.
  3. 3. Flush and prime the new device per the manufacturer's start-up procedure before it is used for drinking water.
  4. 4. Post-install retest: run the same test the audit used and confirm the flagged contaminant is now below the safety threshold.
  5. 5. VERIFY: label the unit with the install date + next filter-change date, and leave the household/site a plain-language card explaining what it does and when to service it.

What counts as done

  • Photo of the flagged test result being remedied
  • NSF/ANSI certification label photo of the installed device
  • Post-install retest reading confirming the contaminant is below the safety threshold
  • GPS waypoint of the installed device

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1788203544578_8ks302u","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
