- 2. Shut off the hose-bib supply and remove the hose-end sprinkler or spray head.
- 3. Attach a pressure-regulated drip-irrigation kit (backflow preventer, filter, pressure regulator, drip line, emitters) sized to the bed at the hose bib.
- 4. Run the kit and photograph water reaching each plant's root zone with no surface runoff, recording emitter count and flow rate.
