$175 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee. Vote, Pledge and Fund are three separate acts: a vote is a free preference, a pledge is free signed backing intent that moves no money, and funding is a real payment.

What the work involves

The survey above found an actively rilling caliche cut slope along the Bordas Escarpment near Hebbronville, and hand installed erosion control matting plus native seeding would otherwise let this slope keep shedding sediment into the downslope watershed each rain.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. 1. Confirm the segment is an accessible moderate grade reachable from the road shoulder without technical climbing or rope access, with county road department staff, and photograph the bare or rilling slope before starting.
  2. 2. Hand install coir erosion control matting or wattles at the toe and face of the accessible slope segment, anchoring with wood stakes, hand tools only, no power equipment.
  3. 3. Hand seed the matted or wattled segment with a native grass and forb seed mix suited to caliche soil.
  4. 4. Photograph the finished segment from the matching before vantage and record the matting or wattle length installed.

What counts as done

  • Before photo of the bare or rilling slope
  • Confirmation the segment is an accessible moderate grade reachable from the road shoulder, no technical climbing or rope access used
  • Matting or wattle length installed recorded, plus seed mix used
  • After photo of the finished, matted and seeded segment

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The standard this serves

Watershed Health. A watershed is everything the land pours into a stream, and the stream keeps the record. The EPA's bioassessment method reads that record through the small creatures living in the gravel: mayflies and caddisflies mean clean water, only worms and midges mean trouble. Mastery looks like a person who can wade one riffle with a net and tell you how the whole valley is doing. That skill is built sample by sample. This packet is one of them: one site, one careful count, one entry in the long record of a stream.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1788228392782_x081d8e","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
