  2. Top up the wallow with water (or refresh mud consistency) so pigs can actually use it.
  3. Turn over and loosen the rooting area's soil surface by hand where it has compacted bare.
  4. Clear any debris or waste that has accumulated in the wallow.
  5. Photograph the refreshed area and log its size and the group of pigs it serves.
