How this work is done

Steps

  1. Photograph the hive-adjacent ground before planting.
  2. Plant a pollinator forage mix (native flowering species suited to the region) in the strip nearest the hives.
  3. Perform an external hive check (activity at the entrance, weight lift, visible pest signs) without a full frame inspection unless credentialed to do so.
  4. Note any hive flagged for follow-up (low activity, visible mite load, robbing behavior).
  5. Photograph the planted strip and log hives checked and any flagged for follow-up.
