Protect the exterior-wall pipes from freezing, Robertson Avenue home.

Fund it for $360. Proof lands onchain when it's done.

$360 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Open, but not claimable yet. restricted: regulated — Regulated or permit-required work cannot be claimed on this rail yet. It stays readable; voting and pledging are free, and funding is separate from claiming.

What the work involves

The readiness survey flagged a kitchen supply line running along an uninsulated exterior wall, a known freeze point in every Washakie County cold snap; heat cable and insulation close it before a burst pipe does real damage.

Proof
before/after photos + GFCI-outlet confirmation + cable-warms confirmation + GPS

This is exactly what gets it approved. Nothing settles without it.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. Photograph the exposed pipe run as found; confirm a grounded GFCI outlet is present or route to add one first.
  2. Fit UL-listed self-regulating heat cable per the manufacturer's spiral spacing, securing with the specified tape only.
  3. Slide pre-slit pipe insulation over the heat-caped run and tape every seam.
  4. Plug into the GFCI outlet, confirm the cable warms, and photograph the finished insulated, plugged-in run.

What counts as done

  • Before photos of the exposed pipe run
  • Photo confirming a grounded GFCI outlet feeds the cable
  • After photos of the heat-caped, insulated, plugged-in run

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The standard this serves

Weatherization Readiness. Weatherization readiness is the survey that turns a cold, expensive-to-heat home into a fundable plan. Following the Department of Energy's program, the surveyor maps where the house leaks air, which attics and walls lack insulation, what fresh-air path must follow the tightening, and which safety checks must clear first. Mastery looks like a walkthrough that ends with a package a weatherization crew can price without a second visit. This packet is one piece of one such survey, done carefully and written down, so a real family's real house gets closer to warm.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1788236851131_jn2zxbb","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
