intermediate work · University Blvd / Arlington Road corridor, Arlington, Jacksonville, FL 32211

Score a home's storm readiness against the FORTIFIED Home checklist, University Blvd / Arlington Road corridor.

Fund it for $380. Proof lands onchain when it's done.

$380 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Open, but not claimable yet. restricted: regulated — Regulated or permit-required work cannot be claimed on this rail yet. It stays readable; voting and pledging are free, and funding is separate from claiming.

What the work involves

Jacksonville sits in a hurricane corridor, and most homes in this block have never been scored against the IBHS FORTIFIED Home checklist -- the ranked list of hardening steps (shutters, soffit vents, garage door, roof-to-wall connections) that keeps a roof on in a named storm.

Proof
photo-documented checklist (exterior walk + attic-hatch entry only, no roof access) + ranked hardening list naming each follow-on job + GPS

This is exactly what gets it approved. Nothing settles without it.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. 1. Walk the exterior at ground level with the owner and photograph every opening (windows/doors), the soffit vent line and the garage door as found.
  2. 2. Enter the attic through the pull-down access hatch only (no roof access) and photograph the visible roof-to-wall and gable-end framing connections from the hatch platform.
  3. 3. Score each item against the IBHS FORTIFIED Home checklist (opening protection, soffit/vent condition, garage-door bracing, roof-to-wall connectors, gable-end bracing).
  4. 4. Rank the shortfalls into a sequenced hardening list naming the matching DOING job for each (shutters -> soffit vents -> garage bracing -> roof-to-wall straps -> gable bracing).
  5. 5. Deliver the one-page checklist to the owner and photograph the handoff.

What counts as done

  • Completed FORTIFIED Home checklist with photos of each item (windows/doors, soffits, garage door, attic connections seen from the hatch)
  • Ranked hardening list naming the matching DOING job for each shortfall (shutters -> soffit vents -> garage bracing -> roof-to-wall straps -> gable bracing)
  • Owner/occupant acknowledgment photo or note

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1788238029636_es9cc6w","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
