How this work is done

Steps

  1. Set 6–10 permanent photo points (GPS + a small stake or cairn) covering the parcel's zones and shoot the standard 4-direction photo set at each.
  2. Walk belt transects between points recording shrub species/cover, burrows, tracks and scat with photos.
  3. Record incidental wildlife (birds, reptiles, lagomorphs) with time and GPS.
  4. Compile the baseline sheet: species list, cover estimate per zone, and the photo-point index for repeat visits.
