  2. Run a vent-cleaning brush kit the full duct length from both ends until the brush comes back clean.
  3. Reconnect the duct with rigid/semi-rigid connectors (no coiled foil) and confirm a tight seal at both ends.
  4. Test-run the dryer and photograph strong airflow at the exterior hood; bag and dispose of the lint removed.
