1. Walk both sides of the assigned block with the survey form.
2. Record every existing street tree with its condition: healthy, struggling, dead, stump.
3. Measure and record every empty pit and every plantable curb stretch clear of hydrants, driveways, and signs.
4. Mark each entry's location on the block map.
5. Photograph each empty pit and dead tree with GPS and date and submit the completed form.
