intermediate work · public roads and village parks, Mount Pleasant, Racine County, WI

Plant a native pollinator meadow strip on public land.

Fund it for $260. Proof lands onchain when it's done.

$260 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee. Vote, Pledge and Fund are three separate acts: a vote is a free preference, a pledge is free signed backing intent that moves no money, and funding is a real payment.

What the work involves

The solar industry learned to seed its ground with native meadow; campus edges should too. On public park strip or right-of-way bordering Microsoft Fairwater, with the authority's written permission, convert a mowed turf strip to a regionally native pollinator meadow: turf removed or smothered, a native seed mix sown at the labeled rate, and the strip signed so it is not mowed back.

written permission + GPS polygon + before/after photos + seed-mix label + no-mow sign photo

This is exactly what gets it approved. Nothing settles without it.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Bring

  • written permission from the public land authority
  • 811 locate ticket for any digging
  • regionally native seed mix or nursery stock with labels
  • hand tools, cardboard or tarps for turf smothering
  • no-mow signage
  • GPS phone with camera

Steps

  1. 1. Take the bird and pollinator baseline transect for the edge (biodiversity_survey packet) and choose the strip or line on public land, never on or against the campus fence.
  2. 2. Obtain the authority's written permission and, for any digging, an honored 811 locate; record both numbers.
  3. 3. Meadow: remove or smother the turf by hand or with cardboard, sow the native mix at the labeled rate, and post no-mow signs; record the seed label and a GPS polygon with before and after photos.
  4. 4. Hedgerow: plant mixed native shrubs and small trees suited to the state along a GPS line that connects two habitat patches from the baseline; record species, counts and nursery source.
  5. 5. Maintenance visit: hand-pull invasives by name, keep signs standing, water only in establishment drought, and record what is in bloom and what is visiting.
  6. 6. Publish the record with GPS, photos and the named steward; anchor via vealth.net/anchor.

What counts as done

  • The public authority's written permission for the strip
  • GPS polygon of the strip with before and after photos
  • The native seed mix label with species list and sowing rate
  • Photo of the no-mow signage in place and the named steward

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1788294523542_d3h59fh","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
