What the work involvesLow-grade heat is exactly greenhouse heat. At a school, community or municipal greenhouse near Meta Prometheus and the New Albany cluster, plant one bed of cool-season food crops (greens, brassicas, alliums, herbs) timed to the recovered-heat season, with the seed source, variety and sowing date recorded. Where no heat line exists yet the bed still goes in and the packet records which heat the greenhouse is burning today, so the future heat receipt has a before.

Steps
- 1. With the greenhouse steward's permission, choose one bed and record the greenhouse's heat source this season (recovered heat, gas, electric, none).
- 2. Prepare the bed by hand and plant cool-season crops suited to the season; record variety, seed source and sowing date; photograph before and after.
- 3. Water in and set the care schedule with the steward; record who tends the bed.
- 4. At harvest, cut, weigh on a scale with the reading photographed, and record variety, date and the bed.
- 5. Deliver the same day to a named school cafeteria, food bank or community kitchen in clean containers; the receiving kitchen confirms weight and condition in the proof.
- 6. Record time from harvest to handoff.

What is promised, and what is not.
