  1. 1. With the greenhouse steward's permission, choose one bed and record the greenhouse's heat source this season (recovered heat, gas, electric, none).
  2. 2. Prepare the bed by hand and plant cool-season crops suited to the season; record variety, seed source and sowing date; photograph before and after.
  3. 3. Water in and set the care schedule with the steward; record who tends the bed.
  4. 4. At harvest, cut, weigh on a scale with the reading photographed, and record variety, date and the bed.
  5. 5. Deliver the same day to a named school cafeteria, food bank or community kitchen in clean containers; the receiving kitchen confirms weight and condition in the proof.
  6. 6. Record time from harvest to handoff.
