Anyone can start here · public roads and city parks, Pine Island, Goodhue/Olmsted County, MN

Inventory every public building within 3 km of Google Pine Island that could take its heat, Pine Island, MN.

Fund it for $90. Proof lands onchain when it's done.

$90 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee. Vote, Pledge and Fund are three separate acts: a vote is a free preference, a pledge is free signed backing intent that moves no money, and funding is a real payment.

What the work involves

A 600 MW campus rejects most of its power as low-grade heat. In Odense a Meta campus warms about 7,000 homes and in Hamina Google supplies most of the town's district heat; Germany now requires new campuses to reuse 10 percent of their heat from 2026 rising to 20 percent by 2028. Walk and record the public heat loads near Google Pine Island: schools, pools, hospitals, greenhouses, civic buildings; distance to the fence, heating fuel today, temperature the load needs, and whether a pipe corridor exists along public right-of-way.

Proof
GPS waypoint per building + distance to fence + heat-load table from public records + corridor sketch

This is exactly what gets it approved. Nothing settles without it.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Bring

  • GPS phone with camera
  • public benchmarking or municipal budget records for building energy
  • map of public right-of-way between campus and candidate buildings
  • receiving building's meter readings or utility bills (receipt runs)
  • hi-vis vest

Steps

  1. 1. From the public street, waypoint and photograph each public building within 3 km of the campus that carries a heat load: schools, pools, hospitals, greenhouses, civic buildings.
  2. 2. For each, record heating fuel and annual load from public benchmarking, budget or bond records, the temperature grade the load needs (hot water, space heat, greenhouse), and distance to the campus boundary; mark unknown where no record exists.
  3. 3. Sketch the public right-of-way corridor a heat pipe could follow; note crossings and ownership from public maps only.
  4. 4. For an agreement packet, help the building's governing body put a heat-offtake letter of interest or agenda item on the public record naming the load, temperature and corridor; deliver it to the operator and record the date and any reply.
  5. 5. For a receipt run, take the month's delivered heat from the RECEIVING building's meter or bill, campus energy from disclosure or a labeled estimate, and compute ERF = reused MWh / campus MWh; a month with no delivery is published as zero with the reason.
  6. 6. Publish and anchor the inventory, the request or the receipt via vealth.net/anchor.

What counts as done

  • GPS waypoint and photo from the public street of each candidate building
  • A table of each building's heating fuel and annual load from public benchmarking or budget records, or marked unknown
  • Distance to the campus boundary and the temperature grade the load needs (hot water, space heat, greenhouse)
  • A sketch of the public right-of-way corridor a pipe could follow

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1788295690366_b517qdx","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
