Anyone can start here · public roads and community parks in the Boxtown and Riverside corridor, Memphis, Shelby County, TN, and Southaven, DeSoto County, MS
Count the permitted backup-generator hours on the public air permit for xAI Colossus (Memphis and Southaven), Memphis, TN.
Fund it for $80. Proof lands onchain when it's done.
$80 proposed
This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.
Open, but not claimable yet. restricted: permit-required — Regulated or permit-required work cannot be claimed on this rail yet. It stays readable; voting and pledging are free, and funding is separate from claiming.
What the work involvesEvery campus carries hundreds of megawatts of diesel or gas backup, and its air permit says how many hours a year they may run for testing and outages. Pull the public permit for xAI Colossus (Memphis and Southaven) from the state air agency, count the permitted units, their fuel and their annual run-hour limits, and record any public complaint or notice of violation on file, so the neighbors know what the permit allows before the smoke does.
How this work is done
A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.
Bring
- sound level meter or calibrated phone app (dB(A))
- sky quality meter or calibrated phone app
- GPS phone with camera
- hi-vis vest and a second person for night work
- for planting: hand tools, native evergreen stock, 811 locate ticket, written permission
Steps
- 1. From public ground after 10 p.m., choose fixed waypoints: nearest home, nearest park, and one control point away from the campus; photograph each.
- 2. Log sound level in dB(A) at each waypoint with time and the meter or app used; log sky brightness at each with the instrument used.
- 3. Cite the local ordinance's night limits and the WHO guideline beside the readings; this is documentation only, the boundary itself is never touched.
- 4. For the permit packet, pull the state air permit, count generator units with fuel and size, record the annual run-hour limits and any complaints or notices of violation on file.
- 5. For a buffer planting, obtain the parks or public-works authority's written permission and an 811 locate; plant a dense row of regionally native evergreens and shrubs on public land between homes and the campus, never on or against the fence; record species, counts, source and the watering plan.
- 6. Publish the readings or the planting record with GPS and photos; anchor the file via vealth.net/anchor.
What counts as done
- The air permit's id and URL or filing reference, or marked not yet issued
- A table of permitted generator units with fuel type and rated size
- The annual run-hour limit per unit or per facility as written in the permit
- Public complaints or notices of violation found on file, or none, with the search described
Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.
What is promised, and what is not.
Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1788295872692_2w26drh","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.
An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.
Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.
Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
