Steps

1. 1. Name the shepherd and record the written grazing agreement: flock size, breed, dates, stocking rate, and who is responsible for the animals every day of the graze.
2. 2. Walk the paddock boundary with the site owner's representative and mark it so that every inverter pad, transformer, combiner, cable run, conduit riser and enclosure sits OUTSIDE the grazed area.
3. 3. Set the temporary fencing on the marked boundary using the shepherd's own equipment and hand tools, touching no part of the array and no electrical equipment.
4. 4. Place and fill the water source, and record the shade, water and escape provisions the flock will have.
5. 5. Photograph the finished paddock from fixed points with GPS, and record the ground cover height and dominant species at the start of the pass.
6. 6. Publish the agreement's terms, the boundary map showing the electrical zones outside it, the photographs, and the date the flock arrives.
