Inventory the water fixtures.

Fund it for $80. Proof lands onchain when it's done.

$80 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee. Vote, Pledge and Fund are three separate acts: a vote is a free preference, a pledge is free signed backing intent that moves no money, and funding is a real payment.

What the work involves

A school or library in Garden City pays for every gallon through fixtures nobody has counted since the building opened. With the facility manager's written permission, walk the building and record every fixture: type, location, the flow rate stamped on it, whether it carries a WaterSense label, its apparent age, and whether it drips. Read flow from the stamp or the manufacturer's published spec, not from a guess. Rank what a retrofit would save using WaterSense criteria and the building's own use, and hand the list to the facility manager. This is documentation only; nothing is turned, opened or replaced.

Proof
fixture table with type, location, stamped flow rate, WaterSense label yes or no, and drip status, plus a ranked retrofit list against WaterSense criteria

This is exactly what gets it approved. Nothing settles without it.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Bring

  • the facility manager's written permission and an escort where the building requires one
  • GPS phone and camera with a timestamp
  • clipboard or tablet with one row per fixture
  • a flashlight for reading a stamped flow rate
  • the manufacturer's published specification for any fixture with no legible stamp
  • a watch or phone timer for the fixed night flow interval

Steps

  1. 1. Confirm written permission, the escort the building requires, and the rooms that are in scope, before entering any space.
  2. 2. Walk the building room by room and record every fixture: type, location, the flow rate stamped on it, whether it carries a WaterSense label, its apparent age, and whether it drips or runs on. Read flow from the stamp or the manufacturer's published specification, never from a guess.
  3. 3. Photograph every fixture found dripping or running, and report each one to the facility manager the same day rather than at the end of the packet.
  4. 4. Rank a retrofit against WaterSense flow criteria and the building's own use, labeling every saving figure an estimate, and hand the ranked list to the facility manager.
  5. 5. For a night flow reading, have the facility manager confirm in writing that fixtures and irrigation are off, then photograph the building's own meter with the reading and timestamp legible.
  6. 6. Wait a fixed interval, photograph the same meter again, and compute the flow in the meter's own units using the meter model and its multiplier.
  7. 7. Add the reading to the building's running log beside previous months so the building holds a trend rather than an anecdote, and hand any non zero reading to the facility manager the same day.

What counts as done

  • The facility manager's written permission and the building named, with the date and time of the walk
  • A fixture table: type, room or location, stamped or published flow rate with its units, WaterSense label present or absent, and apparent age
  • Drip and run on status per fixture, with a photo of each fixture found dripping
  • A ranked retrofit list against WaterSense flow criteria with the estimated annual saving per line, every estimate labeled an estimate, delivered to the facility manager

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1788299602903_g3sjnjz","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
