Restore infiltration on a permeable public surface.

Fund it for $130. Proof lands onchain when it's done.

$130 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee. Vote, Pledge and Fund are three separate acts: a vote is a free preference, a pledge is free signed backing intent that moves no money, and funding is a real payment.

What the work involves

A permeable plaza, path or parking bay stops being permeable the year nobody cleans it, and then a public works department concludes that permeable paving does not work. On a named permeable surface in Turlock, with the owning authority's written permission, run the maintenance visit: sweep and vacuum the surface, hand clear the joints and openings of packed fines and debris, top the joints back up with the clean aggregate the manufacturer or agency specifies, and prove the recovery with a simple timed pour before and after at the same marked spot.

Proof
written permission, GPS, before and after photos, debris volume removed, joint media replaced, and a timed pour infiltration check before and after at the same marked spot

This is exactly what gets it approved. Nothing settles without it.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Bring

  • GPS phone and camera
  • measuring tape and a marked stake or grade rod
  • shovel, mattock, rake and a wheelbarrow for the planting rung
  • stiff brush, wet vacuum and clean joint aggregate for the permeable surface rung
  • a marked container and a stopwatch for the timed pour
  • hi-vis vest, gloves, and the 811 locate ticket before any digging

Steps

  1. 1. Confirm authority before anything else: the owning agency named, the written permission in hand, and for any digging an honored 811 locate ticket recorded with its number and date.
  2. 2. For an observation packet, walk the public perimeter of each basin and record a GPS waypoint and a dated photo, a wet or dry call with the fraction of the floor holding water stated as an estimate, the inlet and outlet condition, and any public staff gauge reading transcribed with its units. Do not enter the basin and do not touch an inlet structure.
  3. 3. For a bioretention packet, find where the water already arrives, size the basin to the roof or pavement area it will take, and mark the polygon before cutting. The water must arrive the way it already arrives: no pipe is cut, joined or re-routed.
  4. 4. Shape the basin no deeper than 12 inches, loosen and amend the floor, set a stone splash pad at the inlet, and set the overflow so a storm larger than the design leaves on the path it already used.
  5. 5. Plant regionally native deep rooted species at spacing, mulch to the specified depth without burying the crowns, and photograph from the same two vantage points used before the work.
  6. 6. For a permeable surface packet, run a timed pour at a marked spot before touching anything: a measured volume of water, the seconds to drain, both written down. Then sweep and vacuum, hand clear the joints of packed fines, top up with the specified clean aggregate, and repeat the timed pour at the same marked spot.
  7. 7. Prove the outcome rather than the effort: for a basin, a photograph showing drawdown within 48 hours of the first fill; for a permeable surface, the before and after pour times side by side.

What counts as done

  • The owning authority's written permission and the surface named, with a GPS waypoint and before and after photos
  • A timed pour at the same marked spot before and after: the volume of water used, the seconds to drain, and both readings side by side
  • The volume or weight of debris and fines removed, and where it was disposed
  • The joint aggregate used, its source, and the area of joints topped up

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1788300820817_h0nfgm5","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
