Dog/cat 9-point body condition score with rib palpation — College Station, TX.

Fund it for $140. Proof lands onchain when it's done.

$140 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash — recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee. Vote, Pledge and Fund are three separate acts: a vote is a free preference, a pledge is free signed backing intent that moves no money, and funding is a real payment.

What the work involves

College Station, TX is home to Texas A&M University's College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences, established in 1915 -- the site where the world's first cloned pet, a cat named 'cc' (born December 22, 2001), was created, real evidence of the depth of small-animal veterinary science built in this city. A distinct connection from this library's existing Los Angeles tile, which is built on that city's own dense companion-animal population and stretched low-cost veterinary capacity rather than an institution's own scientific record.

Proof
A recorded BCS 1-9 with the palpation and visual findings that justify it, compared to the ideal band (4-5/9), with any out-of-band score routed to a veterinarian before diet changes

This is exactly what gets it approved. Nothing settles without it.

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Bring

  • The dog or cat, calm and standing
  • A published 9-point BCS chart (WSAVA versions are freely available)
  • Both hands free for rib palpation
  • The current diet's label and daily amount

Steps

  1. 1. Let the animal settle; stand it if possible. Have the 9-point chart beside you.
  2. 2. Palpate the ribcage with flat fingers: note whether ribs are felt easily under a slight fat cover (ideal), only with pressure (heavy), or are sharply prominent (thin).
  3. 3. Look from above for a visible waist behind the ribs, and from the side for an abdominal tuck (dogs) or a minimal belly pouch (cats — a small primordial pouch is normal).
  4. 4. Assign the 1-9 score the chart's descriptions actually support; record the palpation and both visual findings that justify it.
  5. 5. Compare to the ideal band 4-5/9 and record the result as a trend against any prior score.
  6. 6. Record the current diet and daily amount. If the score is out of band or the keeper wants a diet change, route to a veterinarian FIRST — do not coach a restriction plan.
  7. 7. Set the recheck date.

What counts as done

  • BCS 1-9 recorded with the rib-palpation finding and both visual checks (overhead waist, side profile) noted
  • Comparison to the ideal 4-5/9 band recorded as a trend, not a diagnosis
  • Out-of-band score (≤3 or ≥7), or any planned diet change, routed to a veterinarian first — a named low-cost or nonprofit veterinary route counts
  • Current diet and daily amount recorded as context

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The money and the proof

What is promised, and what is not.

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1788319816775_84zrl5v","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
