What the work involvesThis standard's own foundational citation (McDonald D, et al. 'American Gut: an Open Platform for Citizen Science Microbiome Research.' mSystems. 2018;3(3):e00031-18) was published in mSystems, confirmed via WebFetch to the American Society for Microbiology's own official site (asm.org, since Wikipedia's mSystems page does not name ASM's headquarters) to be published by ASM: real HQ 1752 N St. NW, Washington, DC. No honesty-limit caveat needed: ASM is the direct, confirmed publisher of the citation's own journal. A genuinely separate reuse of Washington, DC from this session's earlier USDA, GSA, AAAS, and Endocrine Society tiles, since ASM is a distinct real organization connecting to a wholly different standard's own citation. Distinct from the existing Detroit tile, which is built on that city's own real fresh-food-access context rather than the citation's publisher.
How this work is done
A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.
Bring
- a 7-day food log or meal photos
- a plant-tally sheet (species, not servings)
- note on food allergies/intolerances + any GI condition
- note on any clinician-directed restrictive diet
Steps
- 1. Log 7 days of food; note any diagnosed GI condition (IBD, celiac), food allergies/intolerances, or a clinician-directed restrictive diet — these change the plan and may need a dietitian.
- 2. Tally DISTINCT plant species across the week — count each vegetable, fruit, legume, nut/seed, whole grain, and herb/spice once (not per serving); different varieties/colors count separately.
- 3. Compare the weekly distinct-plant count to the ~30/week diversity context (McDonald 2018) as a coached goal, not a prescription.
- 4. Identify low-coverage groups (e.g., no legumes, few whole grains) and set a coached progression: add 2-3 new plants/week from the missing groups, favor fiber + polyphenol-rich choices, and increase fiber gradually with fluids.
- 5. Record the distinct-plant count, group gaps, and the coached plan; sign. Route any red flag to a clinician / dietitian.
What counts as done
- 7-day distinct-plant-species count (each vegetable/fruit/legume/nut-seed/whole-grain/herb-spice counted once)
- Low-coverage plant groups identified (legumes / whole grains / nuts-seeds / herbs-spices / produce color range)
- Coached progression recorded (add new plants from missing groups; increase fiber gradually with fluids)
- Allergy / GI-condition / restrictive-diet context recorded and any red flag routed to a clinician / dietitian
Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.
What is promised, and what is not.
Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1788535819032_7b80y5o","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.
An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.
Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.
Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
