All of it: the words, the place, the proof

A patch of this yard near Crystal City, TX, a former path or ground next to the driveway, has packed down hard enough that water runs off instead of soaking in. A broadfork loosens the ground from below without turning the layers over or shattering the soil's own structure the way a powered tiller would.

Fund it for $55. Proof lands onchain when it's done.

$55 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash: recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Proof
resident permission record plus before photo plus in-progress broadfork photo plus after photo of the loosened, unflipped patch

This is exactly what gets it approved. Nothing settles without it.

How this work is done

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. 1. Confirm the compacted patch with the resident and clear it of any surface debris or roots wider than a finger.
  2. 2. Push the broadfork's tines fully into the ground with a foot on the crossbar, using body weight straight down, never leaning the handles sideways to pry.
  3. 3. Step back, rock the handles gently to loosen the soil below, then lift the tines out without turning or flipping the loosened layer over.
  4. 4. Move back a tine's width and repeat across the patch in straight rows, then water the loosened area and photograph the finished patch.

What counts as done

  • Written or recorded permission from the resident
  • Photo of the compacted patch before work
  • Photo of the broadfork tines pushed into the ground with a foot on the crossbar
  • Photo of the finished patch with the soil loosened in place, layers not flipped over

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The standard this serves

Soil Health. Soil health is the discovery, now written into USDA standards, that soil is not dirt but a living body: it breathes, digests, holds water, and can sicken or recover. The tests are wonderfully physical. Time how fast water soaks in. See whether a clod holds together in water or falls apart. Smell for the sweetness of organic matter. Mastery looks like a farmer who can read a handful of ground like a page. This packet is one plot examined by those methods and recorded, one honest page in the story of a piece of land.

What is promised, and what is not

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1789314070422_ignmjzd","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee. Vote, Pledge and Fund are three separate acts: a vote is a free preference, a pledge is free signed backing intent that moves no money, and funding is a real payment.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.

Other acts: vote, pledge, fund
