This connects to the citation's own senior co-author's present-day second institution, not a confirmed 2019-era one.

2. Score ear position: 0 = ears facing forward/normal, 1 = ears slightly pulled apart or rotated outward, 2 = ears flattened and rotated outward or pinned.
3. Score orbital tightening: 0 = eyes open, 1 = eyes partially closed, 2 = eyes squinted or tightly closed.
4. Score muzzle tension: 0 = round, relaxed muzzle, 1 = mildly tense muzzle, 2 = muzzle tense with a sphincter-like, tightly pulled appearance.
5. Score whisker change: 0 = whiskers loose and curved, 1 = slightly curved or straight, 2 = whiskers straight and moving forward, away from the face.
6. Score head position: 0 = head held above the shoulder line, 1 = head aligned with the shoulder line, 2 = head held at or below shoulder line, or tilted/pressed down.
7. Sum the five 0-2 scores to a total 0-10; record the total against the published 4/10 threshold and any prior screen as a trend.
