  2. Open the lane to the next paddock and move the herd through calmly, low-stress handling only.
  3. Close the vacated paddock's fence and confirm the new paddock's water access.
  4. Record the vacated paddock's rest-start date per the rotation plan.
  5. Photograph the herd in the new paddock and log the move date and paddock number.
