All of it: the words, the place, the proof

The sealing and gutter work above buys time, but this Columbine St home still heats with an aging gas furnace pushing air through an un-insulated attic. One readiness walk turns "it's always cold in here" into a scoped, fundable next job.

Fund it for $380. Proof lands onchain when it's done.

$380 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash: recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

How this work is done

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. Walk the home with the occupant and photograph the furnace nameplate, attic access, and any visible insulation depth (observe only, no equipment opened).
  2. Note air-sealing targets already completed (weatherstrip/gutter/window-well rungs) against remaining envelope gaps.
  3. Flag combustion-safety items (venting, carbon-monoxide detector presence) for the licensed pro's confirmation before any tightening.
  4. Deliver a one-page readiness summary naming the next job (heat pump swap) and the licensed-electrician/HVAC items it needs confirmed first.

What counts as done

  • Furnace nameplate + attic-access photos
  • Completed readiness checklist naming remaining envelope gaps
  • One-page summary naming the heat-pump follow-on job

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The standard this serves

Weatherization Readiness. Weatherization readiness is the survey that turns a cold, expensive-to-heat home into a fundable plan. Following the Department of Energy's program, the surveyor maps where the house leaks air, which attics and walls lack insulation, what fresh-air path must follow the tightening, and which safety checks must clear first. Mastery looks like a walkthrough that ends with a package a weatherization crew can price without a second visit. This packet is one piece of one such survey, done carefully and written down, so a real family's real house gets closer to warm.

What is promised, and what is not

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1789358097676_s2gv5sm","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

Open, but not claimable yet. restricted: regulated — Regulated or permit-required work cannot be claimed on this rail yet. It stays readable; voting and pledging are free, and funding is separate from claiming.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.

Other acts: vote, pledge, fund
