Steps

Photograph the existing fixtures and note tube type/count as found.
Confirm each fixture is switched off at the wall switch and the breaker before opening it.
Swap tubes/ballast bypass to LED per the fixture's rated retrofit kit.
Switch the circuit back on, confirm even light output, and photograph the finished fixtures.

Energy Efficiency Audit. Energy efficiency work begins with the walkthrough audit, the kind the ASHRAE standard describes: a trained eye moving through a building, reading the bills, the walls, the lights, and the equipment, and coming out with the short list of fixes worth doing first. What is promised, and what is not
