All of it: the words, the place, the proof
Replace asphalt parking bay 2 at Chicano Park, San Diego, CA with permeable pavers. The underpass lot is solid impervious paving that sheds every drop of runoff to the storm drain and pools during real storms, and this keeps the same capacity while letting water soak in.
Fund it for $880. The receipt lands onchain once the proof is approved.
Safety, read before you claim
Trained crew only: right-of-way permit, 811 locates, wet-cut dust controls (respirable silica), traffic control under the bridge structure; never work without the parking bay closed and coned off. Wear a hi-vis vest near traffic.
How this work is done
How this work is done
A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.
Steps
- Close the parking bay and cone it off for traffic control, then write down the right-of-way permit and 811 locate reference numbers for the bay.
- Photograph the solid impervious parking bay as found.
- Cut and remove the asphalt surface of the bay, cutting wet to control dust.
- Prepare the subgrade under the removed asphalt by leveling and compacting the exposed ground.
- Lay an open-graded base course over the prepared subgrade and compact it.
- Write the spec sheet from what you actually did: how the subgrade was prepared, and the open-graded base-course material and measured thickness.
- Lay permeable pavers over the base course so they cover the whole bay.
- Pour water onto the finished pavers and record a video showing it soaking in with no ponding.
- Photograph the completed permeable bay, save a GPS waypoint, and enter the permit and 811 references, before and after photos, spec sheet, water-test video and waypoint in the proof record.
What counts as done
- Before photo of the solid impervious parking bay
- Permit + 811 locate references before excavation
- Subgrade prep and open-graded base-course spec sheet (permeable-pavement BMP)
- After photo of the completed permeable bay + water-test video showing infiltration, no ponding
Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.
What is promised, and what is not
Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment, made by the payer straight to the worker, with no Vealth fee. Paying Vealth is closed: Vealth takes no new card or wallet payment for a job. To fund a job, offer to pay the worker directly, then pay them yourself when you accept the proof, from your own wallet or by your own card or bank. From a wallet: prepare_token_offer, sign, submit_token_offer; after the proof is accepted you pay the worker on chain and the worker records it (prepare_token_settlement, or POST /labor/settle for USDC on Base). By card or bank: prepare_direct_offer, sign, submit_direct_offer; you pay the worker yourself and the worker records it with prepare_direct_settlement. Both are free, need no gas, and move no money through Vealth.
Open, but not claimable yet. restricted: permit-required. Regulated or permit-required work cannot be claimed on this rail yet. It stays readable; voting and pledging are free, and funding is separate from claiming.
An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.
Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.
Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
Other acts: vote, pledge, fund
