All of it: the words, the place, the proof

This ranch's county-road tributary crossing runs an undersized culvert that has scoured out below its outlet, leaving the pipe perched a foot above the streambed and blocking native trout from moving upstream to spawning water; regrading the outlet pool and setting embedded baffles restores a continuous, passable channel through the crossing.

Fund it for $660. The receipt lands onchain once the proof is approved.

This job is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price, not money held for the worker. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash: recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

Trained crew only: coordinate the road-closure window with the county road department, 811 locates before any excavation, in-stream work timed to the state fisheries work-window, never stand downstream of moving equipment.

How this work is done

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. Coordinate the road-closure window with the county road department and confirm the 811 utility locate before starting.
  2. Measure and record the perch height at the culvert outlet, then photograph the outlet as found.
  3. Regrade the outlet pool to streambed grade, removing the perch drop below the culvert.
  4. Set embedded baffles into the streambed sized and spaced to match the culvert diameter.
  5. Record a log of the baffle placement and streambed embedment matched to the culvert diameter.
  6. Photograph the regraded outlet pool showing streambed grade with no perch drop.
  7. Confirm the water surface runs unbroken from the culvert inlet to the outlet with no jump, and record the flow-continuity confirmation.
  8. Record the GPS location of the crossing.

What counts as done

  • Before photo + measured perch height at the culvert outlet
  • Baffle placement / streambed-embedment log matched to the culvert diameter
  • After photo showing the outlet pool regraded to streambed grade with no perch drop
  • Flow-continuity confirmation (water surface unbroken from inlet to outlet, no jump)

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The standard this serves

Watershed Health. A watershed is everything the land pours into a stream, and the stream keeps the record. The EPA's bioassessment method reads that record through the small creatures living in the gravel: mayflies and caddisflies mean clean water, only worms and midges mean trouble. Mastery looks like a person who can wade one riffle with a net and tell you how the whole valley is doing. That skill is built sample by sample. This packet is one of them: one site, one careful count, one entry in the long record of a stream.

What is promised, and what is not

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment, made by the payer straight to the worker, with no Vealth fee. Paying Vealth is closed: Vealth takes no new card or wallet payment for a job. To fund a job, offer to pay the worker directly, then pay them yourself when you accept the proof, from your own wallet or by your own card or bank. From a wallet: prepare_token_offer, sign, submit_token_offer; after the proof is accepted you pay the worker on chain and the worker records it (prepare_token_settlement, or POST /labor/settle for USDC on Base). By card or bank: prepare_direct_offer, sign, submit_direct_offer; you pay the worker yourself and the worker records it with prepare_direct_settlement. Both are free, need no gas, and move no money through Vealth.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee. Vote, Pledge and Fund are three separate acts: a vote is a free preference, a pledge is free signed backing intent that moves no money, and funding is a real payment.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.

Other acts: vote, pledge, fund
