All of it: the words, the place, the proof

Weed, loosen, and mulch the compacted street tree pits at the 1300 block of El Prado Ave, Torrance, CA. They are trash-filled as well, and slowly killing the shade canopy the block depends on in a heating city.

Fund it for $160. Proof lands onchain when it's done.

$160 proposed

This packet is not funded yet, so this figure is a proposed price and not money waiting in escrow. If a buyer funds it, approved proof settles that price onchain. If nobody funds it, approved proof earns provable credit toward the work instead of cash: recorded, and readable any time at vealth.net/labor/credit/(your wallet). You see which before you claim, never after.

How this work is done

How this work is done

A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.

Steps

  1. Photograph each pit as found; note compaction, trash, girdling material and whether the trunk flare is buried.
  2. Clear trash and weeds by hand; free any girdling wire or cord that lifts away without cutting bark.
  3. Hand-fork the top 2–3 inches to relieve compaction, working around roots, never cut them; expose the trunk flare.
  4. Lay a 3-inch mulch ring keeping a gap at the trunk, and water thoroughly.
  5. Photograph the finished pit from the matching vantage and log the watering.

What counts as done

  • Before photo of each pit
  • After photo from matching vantage (flare visible, mulch ring correct)
  • Watering log with volume + count of pits restored

Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.

The standard this serves

Street Tree Pit Restoration. A street tree lives its whole life in a few square feet of ground, and that small square decides everything. Tree pit restoration is the young-tree care the arborists' standards prescribe: loosen the trampled soil, clear the trash and the weeds, lay mulch like a blanket but keep it off the bark, check the trunk for wounds and forgotten ties. Mastery looks like a block where every young tree is visibly thriving. This packet is one pit brought back properly. A city's canopy is grown one small square at a time.

What is promised, and what is not

Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment that backs the wage. Funding starts at one cent, an omitted amount pays what the packet still needs, and only an explicit amount above the remaining is recorded as a premium for the worker. Money settles only on accepted proof. An agent can fund it in one x402 call: POST /nurture/fund {"workId":"WORK_1789693842298_eecs2pd","funderWallet":"0xYOU"}.

Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee. Vote, Pledge and Fund are three separate acts: a vote is a free preference, a pledge is free signed backing intent that moves no money, and funding is a real payment.

An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.

Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.

Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.

Other acts: vote, pledge, fund
