- Walk the shoreline trail from dry land and photograph the litter as found.
- Collect litter and small debris by hand or grabber into trash bags, sorting recyclables where a bin is available.
- Stay above the waterline at all times, never wade or enter the water to retrieve an item.
- Photograph the cleared stretch from the same vantage, weigh or count the bags, and dispose of them properly.
