- Rake and shovel out leaves, trash, and sediment from the surface of each drainage path, working from the top, never reaching into culverts.
- Bag debris and set it out for legal collection.
- Flag any collapsed culvert or standing sewage smell for a report to the county drainage district, do not touch those.
- Photograph each cleared drainage line with GPS and date.
