  1. Walk the invited yard with the occupant and list every standing-water source.
  2. Tip and drain buckets, saucers, tires, and toys; scrub and refill pet and stock water.
  3. Screen or invert what must stay outside, and clear debris-clogged yard drain grates by hand.
  4. Report any green pool or untreatable source to the vector control district and log the report number.
  5. Photograph each source before and after, plus the report log, with date and GPS.
