  1. Confirm the invitation and find the worst leaks with the occupant on a cold morning.
  2. Photograph each leak point before work.
  3. Install window shrink film on the leakiest panes, weatherstrip and sweeps on exterior doors, and gaskets on exterior-wall outlets.
  4. Check that no film or materials sit near the wood stove or its flue clearances.
  5. Confirm all doors and windows still work.
  6. Photograph each installed measure with date and address block.

What is promised, and what is not
