Build a planted bioswale to slow street runoff.
A crew digs a graded channel with shovels and plants it with native grasses at Public curbside, filtering runoff before the storm drain. Read all of it

All of it: the words, the place, the proof
Build a planted bioswale to slow street runoff in Heliópolis. Once a gutter run is clear, the deeper fix for Heliópolis's flooding is giving stormwater somewhere to soak in rather than racing straight to an overloaded drain. A shallow planted bioswale along the curb slows and filters that runoff before it reaches the storm system. This intermediate build follows directly from the cleared gutter section.
Offer to pay $340. The receipt lands onchain once the proof is approved.
Safety, read before you claim
Public-space work with hand tools only; no digging below 18 inches. Get buried utilities marked or cleared in writing before any digging.
How this work is done
How this work is done
A documented method, so this packet comes out the same whoever does it.
Steps
- Confirm the section builds on the previously cleared gutter run.
- Get the buried utilities marked, or a written clearance from the utility, before any digging.
- Dig a shallow, gently sloped channel by hand along the curb line.
- Line the channel with gravel at the base for drainage.
- Plant water-tolerant native species along the swale.
- Photograph the finished bioswale and record the build date.
What counts as done
- Before photo of the curb line
- After photo of the dug, planted swale
- GPS-tagged date
- Utility marking or written utility clearance obtained before any digging
Proof is measured against these, not judged by taste.
The standard this serves
Green Stormwater Infrastructure. Green stormwater infrastructure is the city's way of handling rain the way a meadow does: rain gardens, planted swales, and permeable pavement that let a storm soak in instead of surging down a pipe. The EPA's inspection standard keeps these systems honest, because a neglected rain garden quietly stops working while still looking like a garden. Mastery is the inspector's eye: reading inlets, overflow, plants, and soil in a single practiced pass. This packet is one such inspection, one basin checked and one record filed, which is precisely how a thousand basins stay alive.
What is promised, and what is not
Three separate acts, never one: a vote is a free signed preference that moves no money; a pledge is free signed backing intent, balance-checked, that moves no money and never marks the packet funded; funding is a real payment, made by the payer straight to the worker, with no Vealth fee. Paying Vealth is closed: Vealth takes no new card or wallet payment for a job. To fund a job, offer to pay the worker directly, then pay them yourself when you accept the proof, from your own wallet or by your own card or bank. From a wallet: prepare_token_offer, sign, submit_token_offer; after the proof is accepted you pay the worker on chain and the worker records it (prepare_token_settlement, or POST /labor/settle for USDC on Base). By card or bank: prepare_direct_offer, sign, submit_direct_offer; you pay the worker yourself and the worker records it with prepare_direct_settlement. Both are free, need no gas, and move no money through Vealth.
Claiming is free. You sign to prove the wallet is yours: no card, no deposit, no fee. Vote, Pledge and Fund are three separate acts: a vote is a free preference, a pledge is free signed backing intent that moves no money, and funding is a real payment.
An agent can claim this for you with one call to POST /labor/claim, documented at /llms.txt.
Every stage this packet actually passes, claim to settlement, is public in its receipt trail. A stage that has not happened is not claimed.
Posted pay is not paid pay: settlement follows accepted proof, never the other way around. Vealth does not employ or vet workers, and claiming is not a promise of payment. See how proof and receipts work.
Other acts: vote, pledge, fund
